Hey guys! I was just reading over my very first blog posts and read about when I chose how to start each post. Its so cheesy but its definitely become a tradition to open with a big "Hey guys!!" I guess this proves how badly the English language needs a pronoun for y'all, you guys, or my favorite, yousguyses. Anyways....my outfit is so____today. It totally reminds me of a certain look but I can't put my finger on it. Its kinda nautical, preppy, schoolgirl, neutral....no idea. Putting a label on it doesn't really matter cause I like how it turned out. This is one of the most basic tees ever but I love the color combination and it fits perfectly. If you can't tell, the skirt has these super tiny vertical stripes which make it look like denim. This was pattern-clashing on a very small scale which is good because if the skirt had huge stripes I would look like a clown. I like how the silhouette and shoes are young looking while the belt and neutral colors make it more grown up.

P.S.- I've been admiring Kayla's blog, Blue Collar Catwalk, and she started this amazing challenge called "30 in 30" where you choose 30 pieces (including jackets and shoes!!) and remix them for 30 days. It sounds awesome and I'm totally tempted to start picking my micro-wardrobe right now. It would be great to sort out which pieces really make the backbone of my wardrobe, how versatile my pieces really are, and an awesomely creative challenge in remixing. Care to join in?
