Oldie but Goodie

Hey guys! I took this pics a few weeks ago but I just rediscovered them on my computer. The white skirt is Kristin's, from the clothes swap, and it's from AEO. I'm obsessed with white, especially for summer so I was sad when I grew out of my favorite white peasant skirt. Luckily I have friends to steal from (sorry K, your clothes are still in my closet...) I've been scouring the internet for a cute white sundress; any suggestions? There's something so simple and refreshing about crisp white clothes in the summer sun.

This outfit is very me. If you didn't know, purple is my signature color. I had a phase a few years ago where I went months buying only purple clothes. It was slightly insane but I still enjoy my violet clothing. The necklace was a birthday gift from a friend and I've permanently stolen this belt from my mom. Oh, I got a new skinny yellow belt from Target the other day. Pictures will be up later today. Enjoy the sunshine!

Hey guys! Ever since we hosted a Stella and Dot jewelry show at our house last week, I've been itching to dress up in some super glam jewels and fabulous heels for a night out. Then I remember I'm a teenager living in a small suburb thats fanciest location is a tennis club. A girl can dream, right? I was particularly inspired by this gorgeous bracelet and its matching earrings. When I tried them on at the trunkshow, one of my friends said, "Hey, those would be perfect to wear to the Oscars." Right, cause I was nominated for Best Supporting Actress this year. And while I sometimes get disappointed that there aren't many fancy gatherings around here, I realized I could just throw one myself! So I'm definitely adding glam party to my summer goals.

Earth Tones

Hey guys, Kristin and I finished the clothes swap this week. Now I actually need to go through my own clothes and find something decent. Oh, poo. The little challenge was really fun and it was cool trying new styles risk-free and.....money-free. I guess that's the traditional meaning of the word.

So I wore this Tuesday as a casual outfit after the busy long weekend. The white top is Kristin's and the scarf is from our family friend, who's visiting from Spain. It was very unlike me to wear shorts every day this week, especially since I've been in a skirt phase. This look was so simple, I just threw on a few of my favorite accessories with a tank and shorts. I hope everyone has a fun weekend! (I'll be studying for finals. Ew.)
