Olivia's Outlook

Hey Guys!
My younger sister Olivia has been featured on my blog a few times and she is getting more and more interested in fashion. Many times she yells at me saying, "Who cares what you're wearing!!" but there are days when she asks for advice. This page is dedicated to her fashion development and she will be making posts in her own words about once a week. Hopefully, after a few months it'll be interesting to see how her style has changed. I think this is the perfect time for her to start this kind of thing because my style DRASTICALLY changed from 6th grade to freshman year of high school and multiple times in between. I was a total geek in 6th grade but I still cared somewhat about how I looked. In 7th grade I did a 180 turn and only cared about how I looked. That year I wore so many pink, girly, ruffley looking things--it was crazy! Now I've settled into the classic, feminine style I feel comfortable with. I appreciate the diversity at my high school that makes me feel "normal" in just about any clothes.

August 12th:

Today Victoria and I went through all of my clothes to do a clothing inventory, like she does, but also to get rid of clothes that are too small and/or too ugly to keep. After that I got dressed and it was really nice to have all of my cute clothes in front of me without being clogged up by the ones that I'm never going to wear. This dress is a hand-me-down from my cousin who is a little bit bigger than me, and she has really cute clothes. This dress is one of the many cute things I got from her. Hopefully I'll be able to wear more of them on Victoria's blog later!

August 11th:

It's almost the end of summer, I mean I start school in a week, so I wanted to wear something bright and summery. This top is almost too small for me so I really wanted to make some super cute last outfits out of it. This skirt is also getting too small for me, so this will probably be one of the last times I wear it. I went to the doctor today and she said that I am now 4' 11"! If I grow anymore I won't be a legal midget!

July 3rd:

I really like that basil pizza from Homemade Pizza Co. We had it for dinner last night. Victoria said that I should wear this dress and I totlly agree. She wanted me to wear checkers to go with the picnic theme but apparently I don't own any. Victoria made us an amazing meal for lunch (She always does) while I coordinated some activities for after lunch. She really just put it together, but she really did think of everything.  To go with my dress I wore my silver sandals that go with every summer outfit. It was very summery.

Don't I look like I have a great idea?

June 14th:

I have had some trouble finding a shirt that I own to match this skirt but I think this shirt goes really well with it. I wore this outfit to a meeting talking about Food Inc. I was giving a little presentation so I wanted to look nice. I like this outfit because I feels like it's dressy and casual at the same time. I also am in a skirt phase so, whenever I wear skirts I feel awesome. Thanks Victoria for letting me have a page on your blog!
